Important Notice: Notification of SISEAP Special General Meeting
Soroptimist International South East Asia Pacific (SISEAP) wishes to advise all members that a Special General Meeting (SGM) will be convened for the Satruday 27th of June 2026.
The sole purpose of this meeting will be to vote for and elect one (1) Director to the Board for a three-year term.
Date: 27 June 2026
Time: 3pm AEST,.
Location/Platform: This will be a virtual meeting.
Formal notice, including the agenda, voting instructions, will be distributed to members in accordance with our constitution.
Representatives (Clubs) will need to register for the virtually meeting.
Voting for the one (1) Director will be conducted using Opa Vote.
Clubs will be required to nominate one (1) Representative and also to instruct the Representative on how to vote.
An authorised representative must attend from each financial member (clubs) within the Federation. A representative or proxy can only represent one member club. A proxy representative must be an individual Soroptimist from another financial member club.
Clubs will need to nominate a Club Representative or a Proxy Representative for the Special General Meeting, and you will need to show that the Club has voted on their Representative or Proxy Representative at a club business meeting and this will need to be recorded in your Club Minutes.
Your club president, secretary or treasurer are required to use the link (below) to register your club representative. This link will need to be utilized from your club's SISEAP email account
Use the link below to register as a Representative or Proxy Representative. Registrations for the meeting close on the 21st of June at 5.00pm AEST (Sydney Time) . Registered representatives will receive their link to the meeting during the week beginning 22nd June 2026 Meeting. This link and password is not be shared.
Voting for the one (1) Director will be done via Opa Vote, online electronic voting. Financial members (clubs) will receive into their SISEAP inbox a link to log on and vote. This link will be your clubs personal link and is not to be shared.
Clubs should expect to receive their Opa Vote link in the coming weeks. Voting will remain open up to and during the Special Meeting on the 27th of June 2026.
